This is a very heavy but stout little dresser. It was easy to put together, but you’ll want to assemble it close to its final place. The finish looks nice, but I believe it’s meant to be sanded and painted… I’m using it as is, but could see painting it years from now.I would have given this dresser 5 stars but I had to hire TaskRabbit to put it together for about $60, which took 2 hours. The dowel holes were a nightmare for me because they were not cleaned out properly - I shoved 2 boards into place by scrunching my back against the wall and pushing as hard as I could with my son pushing the opposite way to keep it all "steady." There was also a bent metal piece holding a wheel in one of the drawers. Then trying to hold 8 pieces of wobbling boards while I tried to add another on top lining up and fitting into the 8 dowel holes, I gave up. I heard a lot of banging and a little power drill but TaskRabbit got it together and it looks beautiful. My tasker said the wood is higher quality than Ikea.Great bureau for my almost 4 year old. However, the drawers are quite short. I missed the depth when I was searching for a dresser that could grow with him. His clothes barely fit. It’s a beautiful piece of furniture and it was easy to assemble. I would recommend it.I am beyond pleased with this purchase. Every piece is solid wood and of great quality! It’s perfect for my 9 year old and will probably hold up when his baby brother is older.I bought this dresser to go w the companies good quality bunk bed. I mean, it’s not too far from crap. Over priced and massively under delivers in quality of material and build. 5 out of 10 quality of wood and sturdiness at best. I mean it, disappointed.I absolutely do not like how the instructions are written, the screws aren't organized or labeled and the measurements are confusing. The drawer space is small. I think it would be a better use of time to just order something already assembled. Otherwise, the item is nice for children.It’s smaller than an average size dresser. The drawers are not deep. It works for now but we will probably need to buy a larger dresser once my son is older.Ordered this dresser for my sons room. It was very easy to put together. Directions made it easy. It is made well. Only reason I dinged it down a star is I wish the drawers were a little larger and that they came out further than they do to better access the clothes. Overall I would buy again.
